
Julia Loewenthal
Ms. Loewenthal is a Project Associate at the Education Development Center (EDC). She works with Health and Behavioral Health Initiatives at the Suicide Prevent Resource Center (SPRC) project, with the Zero Suicide Institute® to support implementation, and with the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention on care transitions work. In these roles, she has aided in initiatives that build capacity to deliver effective suicide prevention services in health care facilities including inpatient behavioral health settings, outpatient behavioral health settings, and primary care. Ms. Loewenthal is a licensed clinical social worker, as well as a certified college and university suicide prevention specialist. She received her BS from Emerson College, and her MSW from the Simmons College School of Social Work.
