Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic

Parkside Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic provides outstanding youth mental health treatment and support. Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic began their Zero Suicide implementation journey in 2019, establishing a dedicated Zero Suicide Committee on campus to ensure continuous alignment with best practices in suicide prevention. These efforts have significantly enhanced their ability to identify and address suicide risks among our patients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.

In 2024, Parkside Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic was excited to expand their Zero Suicide implementation efforts through a collaboration with Family & Children's Services. Together, they co-hosted a Zero Suicide Academy. This event brought together staff members from both organizations, fostering a shared commitment to advancing suicide prevention in the community. EDC's Academy served as a critical platform for education, skill-building, and the exchange of best practices, further embedding the Zero Suicide framework into their organizational culture.
