About the Course

Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) prepares care providers to confidently and compassionately assess and manage suicide risk across healthcare settings.

This practical, self-paced online course prepares you to use the AMSR risk formulation wherever individuals are receiving care. You’ll learn how to recognize suicide warning signs, respond compassionately and appropriately, gather information to formulate risk, and develop an effective, collaborative suicide prevention management plan with your clients.

The course includes six hours of engaging instruction and supplemental materials. Access is available for 180 days, allowing you to complete the course on a flexible schedule.

Trusted by providers for more than 20 years and included in the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) Best Practices Registry, AMSR provides research-informed tools and strategies that are practical to learn and apply in clinical practice.
