About the Academy
Description
EDC's Community-Led Suicide Prevention Academy provides community coalitions, taskforces, and workgroups across the US with information, skills, and resources that increase sustainability of local suicide prevention efforts. The Community-Led Suicide Prevention (CLSP) Academy brings together practitioners, content experts, and community representatives who are dedicated to creating change. Through a mixture of training and collaborative activities, community-based teams strengthen their capacity to sustain coalitions, use data to drive strategic planning, improve community readiness, and focus programming on disproportionately impacted populations. Participants leave the Academy with resources, skills, and priorities for action to strengthen their local suicide prevention efforts.
