About the Workshop
AMSR-trained professionals report increased willingness, confidence, and clarity in working with clients and patients at risk of suicide. The AMSR-Outpatient Training workshop prepares health and behavioral healthcare providers working in outpatient treatment settings to provide confident and empathetic treatment to patients at risk of suicide.

The AMSR for Health and Behavioral Health Professionals Working in Outpatient Settings (AMSR-Outpatient) curriculum develops skills in the recognition, assessment, and management of suicide risk and the delivery of effective suicide-specific interventions.

The AMSR for Health and Behavioral Health Professionals Working in Outpatient Settings (AMSR-Outpatient) curriculum develops skills in the recognition, assessment, and management of suicide risk and the delivery of effective suicide-specific interventions.
- Certificate & Credits
A certificate of completion will be available after submitting the post-training survey within two weeks of the training.
Participants who complete the Outpatient training are eligible for 6.5 continuing education credits. Zero Suicide Institute at EDC is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. These credits are accepted by the BBS for CA licensees for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and LEP for 6.5 CE Credits. Zero Suicide Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Education Development Center, Inc., is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board of Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers. This program is also approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 6.5 continuing education contact hours in the Social Work CE Category.
