About the webinar

Join presenter, Sade Heart of the Hawk Ali, for the webinar, Enhancing Suicide Care in BC : The Zero Suicide Framework on Tuesday, 12th April, 2022 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm PST.  In this webinar, you will learn about the Zero Suicide framework and how you can implement it in health and behavioural health care systems to enhance suicide-safe care for the people, families, and communities you serve.  

Who should register?

  • Health care system leaders (Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment)
  • Mental health care providers
  • Crisis systems/Peer-assisted Care Teams
  • Substance use treatment providers

Space is limited to 100 participants. Registration is available by invitation only and each organization is allotted a maximum number of spaces.

About the presenter

Sadé Heart of the Hawk Ali is the retired Deputy Commissioner of Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services. She is now the Tribal Lead and a Senior Project Associate with the Zero Suicide Institute. She has travelled the US, Canada and Australia providing training on Two Spirit history and culture, intergenerational, historical and modern-day trauma and healing in Indigenous communities, and culturally appropriate recovery management and resilience-promoting service delivery in behavioral health.
