Missouri Department of Mental Health in partnership with the Missouri Behavioral Health Council cordially invites Missouri professionals to an online webinar.
About the Webinar
Zero Suicide is a comprehensive, system-wide approach to safer suicide care. For systems dedicated to improving patient safety, Zero Suicide presents an aspirational challenge and a practical framework. This webinar provides an overview of the framework, key strategies for successful implementation, and resources. This webinar is appropriate for those who are just starting out with Zero Suicide, need a refresher, or want to learn more.
During the webinar, we will provide information to help participants determine readiness for adoption of Zero Suicide and participation in a Zero Suicide Academy in August. The Missouri Department of Mental Health and the Missouri Behavioral Health Council have been supporting Zero Suicide implementation for nearly 10 years, including the coordination of the Show Me Zero Suicide Learning Collaborative. There is tremendous support for Zero Suicide in Missouri and a robust network of implementers willing to share their experiences.
If your organization has been thinking about Zero Suicide as a systems-change, quality improvement approach to reducing suicides, this is your opportunity to learn more!
Participants will be able to:
- Identify three essential resources to implement the Zero Suicide framework.
- Describe three strategies to promote staff readiness for Zero Suicide.
- Discuss key aspects of the Zero Suicide toolkit that support sustainability.
