Webinar | Missouri Zero Suicide Webinar: Practices, Protocols and Partners that Sustain Zero Suicide
September 10, 2026
12pm-1:30pm Central Time

Missouri Department of Mental Health in partnership with the Missouri Behavioral Health Council cordially invites Missouri professionals to an online webinar.

About the Webinar

The foundational belief of Zero Suicide is that suicide deaths for individuals under the care of health and behavioral health systems are preventable. For systems dedicated to improving patient safety, Zero Suicide presents an aspirational challenge and practical framework implemented in the context of continuous quality improvement. This webinar focuses on the evidence-based practices, standardization of workflows, and key community partnerships that support implementation and sustainability.

Participants will be able to:

  • Describe how to collect and use data to support Zero Suicide improvement.
  • Discuss the role of community partners and peer support in safer suicide care.
  • Identify three care transition strategies to support safety and engagement of individuals with suicide risk.
