EDC's K-12 Suicide Prevention Toolkit: A Multi-Tiered Approach to School Suicide Prevention guides school districts in the implementation of a comprehensive, multi-tiered approach to preventing suicide across grade levels.
A Toolkit for School Districts
Whether your school district is just recognizing the need for suicide prevention or seeking to make existing trainings and programs more comprehensive, this toolkit provides practical guidance to help you promote protective factors against suicide across grade-levels, identify and support youth at increased risk for suicide, and to respond effectively following a suicide death.
K-12 Suicide Prevention Toolkit: A Multi-Tiered Approach to School Suicide Prevention is informed by EDC's decades of direct experience supporting school districts and other organizations in strengthening their education, student wellbeing, and suicide prevention practices.
This free toolkit provides best practice recommendations, real-world examples, and editable templates that support districts in incorporating sustainable suicide prevention best practices within their multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
