Alaska Department of Health - Division of Behavioral Health invites Alaska professionals to an online webinar.
About the Webinar
Zero Suicide is a comprehensive, system-wide approach to safer suicide care. For systems dedicated to improving patient safety, Zero Suicide presents an aspirational challenge and a practical framework to support the organizations are already doing. Zero Suicide is continuous quality improvement approach aimed at identifying gaps to provide safer suicide care.
This webinar provides an overview of the framework, including strategies and resources for Alaskan Native communities. We will also explore challenges specific to rural and frontier communities, and how Zero Suicide aligns with other initiatives (i.e. trauma-informed care) and standards.

Amy Molloy, senior project associate, is a behavioral health expert with 14 years of leadership experience in suicide prevention, mental health promotion, veterans’ services, and education.
