Lindsey Minder
Lindsey Minder is an expert in equitable, inclusive, trauma-informed social and emotional learning (SEL). A former teacher and education leader with dual certification in elementary and special education, she brings over a decade of experience fostering students’ holistic growth in classrooms. As a coach, consultant, and change agent, she has supported school leaders and educational organizations across the United States in integrating culturally responsive SEL into innovative school models.
Minder leads a team of experts and technical assistance providers who support schools across Massachusetts in implementing SEL and mental health strategies through the Massachusetts Social, Emotional, and Behavior Academy.
Recently, Minder co-authored a chapter published in Motivating the SEL Field Forward through Equity. Before joining EDC, she served on the founding teams of the Codman Academy Charter Public School—where she was the inaugural director of social-emotional learning—and the Dorchester Collegiate Academy Charter School.
Minder holds an MS in Child and Family Studies from Wheelock College and a BA in Psychology from Marist College. She is trained as a yoga and mindfulness teacher.
