California health and behavioral healthcare professionals are encouraged to apply by July 12th for an online Zero Suicide Academy®, sponsored by The California Department of Public Health’s Office of Suicide Prevention.
About the Academy
Join Zero Suicide Institute Senior Project Associate Wykisha Thomas-Mckinney, for a two-day, online Zero Suicide event.
The Zero Suicide Academy is a two-day training for health and behavioral health organizations seeking to dramatically reduce suicides among those in their care. Using the Zero Suicide model, participants learn how to incorporate best and promising practices into their organizations and processes to improve care and safety for individuals at risk. Zero Suicide faculty provide both interactive presentations and small group sessions, collaborating with participants to develop organization-specific action plans.
