MTSS for Wellbeing Summer Institute
Monday, June 30th & Tuesday, July 1st, 2025
8:30am to 12:00pm ET each day

School and district leaders are invited to take part in EDC's two-day virtual MTSS for Wellbeing Summer Institute June 30th & July 1st.

Empowering Education Leaders to Transform Student Wellbeing

In today’s educational landscape, wellbeing is a critical priority for both students and staff. This immersive, practical virtual institute is designed for education leaders who are committed to creating sustainable, effective Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) that promote wellbeing and address mental and behavioral health challenges.

EDC's MTSS for Wellbeing Summer Institute will maximize your time with two half-day virtual sessions designed to deepen your application of the elements of a successful MTSS for wellbeing. Education leaders, including superintendents, principals, and district-level leaders, will engage in a needs assessment and supports inventory. Our experts will provide concrete strategies and tools you can bring back to your school or district. There will be a balance of whole-group sessions and focus area breakouts.

What You’ll Gain

The Summer Insititute will equip education leaders with concrete tools and strategies for designing, implementing, and sustaining an MTSS framework for wellbeing across a district or school.

By the end of our two-day summer institute, you will:

  • Define the core elements of an effective MTSS structure that prioritizes wellbeing
  • Get targeted support in a focus area of your choice: Suicide & Substance Misuse Prevention, Educator Wellbeing, Attendance & Chronic Absenteeism
  • Explore the current supports available for students and staff in your school/district
  • Engage in collaborative work to draft a vision and concrete goals to guide your district’s MTSS design, implementation, and sustainability
  • Apply concrete resources and tools that you can use with your team
  • Access one hour of free coaching per individual or team following the event

Expectations for Participation

Registrants should be prepared to participate in two interactive virtual half-day sessions and engage in a short pre-work task. Participants will self-select one focus area to engage with: (1) Suicide & Substance Misuse Prevention, (2) Educator Wellbeing, and (3) Attendance & Chronic Absenteeism.

How to Register

Follow this link to our five-minute registration form. School and district leaders may register as individuals or as a team of five for a 25% discount. Following the Summer Institute, one hour of free coaching is available per individual or team.

  • $400 for an individual
  • $1,500 for a team of five.

Optional Coaching Sessions

For an additional fee, participants can engage in four targeted coaching sessions with an EDC Solutions coach between July and August. These meetings will prepare participants to turn their vision and goals into concrete action steps; plan for sustainable change; gather community member input from staff, families, students, and other key voices; and tackle other critical strategic planning steps.
