About the Workshop
AMSR-trained professionals report increased willingness, confidence, and clarity in working with clients and patients at risk of suicide. The AMSR-Inpatient Training workshop prepares health and behavioral healthcare providers working in inpatient treatment settings to provide confident and empathetic treatment to patients at risk of suicide.

The AMSR for Health and Behavioral Health Professionals Working in Inpatient Settings (AMSR-Inpatient) curriculum develops skills in the recognition, assessment, and management of suicide risk and the delivery of effective suicide-specific interventions.

- Certificate & Credits

A certificate of completion will be available after submitting the post-training survey within two weeks of the training.
Participants who complete the Inpatient training are eligible for 6.5 continuing education credits. Zero Suicide Institute at EDC is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Zero Suicide Institute is also approved to sponsor continuing education by the New York State Education Department Board of Social Work (NYSED), and National Association of Social Workers (NASW). This program is approved to provide Continuing Education Credits by APA which is accepted by the BBS for CA licensees for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and LEP for 6.5 CE Credits.
